2)      The Spiritual Model

This model is similar to the business model in providing support to its members but its aim is to take a somewhat more spiritual approach with the intent of tapping into the universal subconscious of the group members. Finding the people may be slightly more difficult because you want people who are open to the possibility of a group on a more spiritual level.

If this seems slightly too "woo-woo" for you, then please focus on the business mastermind. The spiritual model is another form of support that I have personally found very powerful, but you have to be open to what happens. It also helps to have a strong group, and often that can only develop over time.

Process

We usually start with a short reading that one of us brings in. The group then moves to the following reading/ritual. Each person reads one paragraph and then it moves to the person on the right. You may prefer to change the word “God” to “Goddess” or “Love” or “Universe”, and adjust the associated pronouns too  

UNIFYING: I am one with all life and with the creative power of Life. God is good, living his perfect life through me now. All that God is, I am. 

YIELDING: I realize that with God’s help I can improve my life in every way. I yield myself to God and in the manner of Christ, I acknowledge that “I ….., of myself, can do nothing” but with God’s help I can do all things. 

BELIEVING: I now know that there is a creative intelligence and power expressing through me, and to which all things are possible. I know God in me is doing his works 

DECIDING: I make a decision to place myself completely under the influence and direction of the Christ Mind. I ask the Christ Mind to take complete charge of my life and change me at depth 

RELEASING. To establish my conscious contact I get honest with myself as never before, willingly realizing, admitting and releasing all mistaken judgements and negative emotions, that I have directed toward myself and others. 

ASKING. I speak directly to the Christ Mind about any problem area, healing need or special project important to my life, asking for support and guidance. 

The person who reads this now asks for a response to that week’s need. The form it follows may be as follows (but whatever you are comfortable with): “I thank the Mastermind for favours received in the last….(period of time, perhaps with specifics). I would like to ask for … (state your problem area, need or project, adding some specific background to the issue or not, as you wish, but keeping it short and to the point).” The wish can only be on your own behalf, not for someone else. 

Everyone responds but not necessarily in order, because someone may have a very strong image that they have to let out. The response may take the form: “I support you (..Name..) and the Mastermind supports you through me. What I saw (or heard or reacted to) was ……).” 

The feedback may be in the form of images, colours, phrases. whatever flows into the mind. Interpretation of the images is allowed. There should not be a great deal of cross-talk or commentary between members. On the whole participants should NOT be giving business or other personal advice per se. If no image or sound or thought comes, that’s fine, you just offer your support, and for some people it may be several weeks before something comes. Comments are preferably brief, but not always. 

When everyone has been heard from, it moves to the person on the right and slowly round the whole group. (for the six of us it takes about an hour) 

(To conclude, we then say together) GRATEFULLY RECEIVING I now let go and let God. I give thanks that the Christ Mind has fulfilled my every need and that through the grace of God my life has changed. I now enjoy the feelings I experience as all my desires are being fulfilled. 

The group holds hands for this final affirmation, again read together 

DEDICATION AND COVENANT. I now have a covenant with the Christ Mind and I go out into my life with a spirit of enthusiasm, excitement and expectancy.  

I AM AT PEACE.
